I’m Going to Mum’s

Writer/director Lauren Jackson’s first short film was made in collaboration with producer Andrew Cochrane with funding from the New Zealand Film Commission. I’m Going to Mum’s presented the tricky topic of separated families in an entertaining form. Its respectful yet humorous treatment of the subject was reflected in selection and awards at numerous film festivals following its premiere in Berlin Generation 2013. The same team created Lauren’s second short Tree.
